Terms and conditions

These terms apply to reservations, gift vouchers and private dining at CARBŌ, Zaagmolenkade 37, 3035 KA Rotterdam.

1. Reservations

• Tables open thirty days ahead, at noon.
• We keep the bar free every evening for guests who walk in.
• We hold a reserved table for fifteen minutes. If you are running late, give us a call and we will move things around where we can.
• For seven guests and up we make arrangements personally, by email.

2. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancelling is free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. For groups of eight and up we ask for 48 hours. If a party does not turn up without letting us know, we may charge €25 per person; we only do so when we have heard nothing from you.

3. Private dining

A minimum spend applies to the back room, which we confirm in writing beforehand. We compose the menu on the day itself, based on what comes in; we would like to hear about dietary wishes and allergies at least 48 hours in advance.

4. Gift vouchers

• A gift voucher is valid for twelve months from the date of issue.
• It can be spent on any part of the bill.
• It cannot be exchanged for cash and is not refunded.
• We cannot replace a lost voucher.

5. Allergies and dietary wishes

We work in one kitchen with nuts, gluten, shellfish and dairy. We do our utmost, but we cannot fully rule out cross-contamination. Always report allergies both when booking and on arrival.

6. Payment

We accept debit and the usual payment cards. We take cash only to a limited extent. The bill is settled per table.

7. House rules and liability

We may refuse entry or ask guests to leave in the event of disruptive behaviour. We are not liable for loss of or damage to belongings brought with you, except in the case of intent or gross negligence on our part.

8. Complaints

Tell the floor staff on the spot: then we can put it right straight away. If that does not work, email hallo@carborotterdam.nl. Dutch law applies to these terms, and the Dutch version is the binding one.
