Privacy statement
Last updated: 10 August 2026
CARBŌ processes as little personal data as possible. This statement explains what we receive through this website, why, how long we keep it and who else gets to see it.
Who is responsible
CARBŌ, Zaagmolenkade 37, 3035 KA Rotterdam. Questions about your data can go to hallo@carborotterdam.nl.
The contact form
When you use the contact form we ask for your name, your email address and your message. Nothing more: those three are what we need to write back to you.
- Purpose: answering your question or request.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest: you approach us with a question and expect an answer.
- Retention: twelve months after the last contact, after which we delete the message from our mailbox.
We do not store messages in a database. They arrive as email and stay there until they are deleted.
Statistics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read. That happens only if you consent to it. If you decline, nothing is loaded from Google and no statistics cookies are placed. You can change your choice at any time; see the cookie policy.
Who else processes your data
| Party | Role | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger International Ltd. | Website hosting | Europe (EU) |
| Google Ireland Ltd. | Statistics, only after consent | EU / US |
Data processing agreements are in place with these parties. Fonts are served from our own server rather than the Google Fonts CDN, so your IP address does not go to Google for them.
What you can ask for
You may request access to your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to processing. Send an email to hallo@carborotterdam.nl; we respond within four weeks. If we cannot resolve it together, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
This is a translation for convenience. The Dutch version is the binding one.
